Utley Fisheries opened their doors in Nelson this year (2025). Situated on Leeds Road just outside the town centre, a little further up from Wavelengths leisure centre. We ordered via Just Eat, it's probably cheaper to order directly. We ordered a regular sized fish and chips, adult fish bites and chips, a regular sized fish (plus scraps), a dozen onion rings, a chicken burger with chips, large tub of mushy peas and a standard tub of cheese sauce. The chicken burger was the old school classic style chicken burger not the fillet burger that is popular today. Total cost was £41.10 including delivery. Food was warm when we got it and cooked well. Portion sizes were decent too. Everyone enjoyed their meal and would recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing experience! The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour some of the best I’ve had. The chips were crispy and golden, just how they should be. On top of that, the service was outstanding! The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they really care about their customers. Highly recommend this place I’ll definitely be back!

Wow 5 stars all round brilliant chippy brilliant fish plus scraps , fish was huge to much food for £18 but next time as we are in our 60 we could quite easily share one fish and chips btw us . But the best fish and chips in Nelson and certainly better than the park chippy offers
